Common Mistakes and How to Avoid Them
1. Not Preparing the Nail
Before applying the Wraps, make sure you have pushed back your cuticles and buffed your nail. It is important to remove any skin, oil, or cream residue. Use the mini buffer and an alcohol wipe.
2. Choosing the wrong size
Choosing a wrap that is larger than the nail will cause it to lift quickly because it won't have a base to adhere to. Make sure the wrap lies flat on the nail.
3. Do not seal the edges
Do not push all edges near the cuticle line with the stick. If the wrap is not pressed, it will lift, hair will get caught, and oil and cream will cause it to lift.
4. File before curing
Filing before the lamp could cause the wrap to move. If you file after curing, the wrap will be hard and unable to move
